11.  What about the Day of the Appointment?

To provide the best medical care for your pet, we generally prefer that your pet is safely (in a carrier) transported to our mobile clinic parked in front of your home or office. When doctor walk-throughs are requested to review your pets? environmental setting, please do not clean the cages from the night before. We know that you are a good care-giver but dropping examination can be useful.

Birds- To make the most of our professional time for birds examined on your premises: please keep them in cage before the exam. If bird room or aviary birds require exams, if is preferable that they are caged or placed in a carrier before the appointment. Owners of flying birds should have an appropriate net available. Waterfowl are best housed away from the pond the night before.

Reptiles- Reptiles should enter the mobile clinic in a carrier or a bag (snakes). Examination of reptile housing is recommended.

Exotics- Rabbits, Ferrets, and Rodents should be presented in carrier or caged if examined on your premises.

Fish- Owners should have an appropriate size net to safely and efficiently capture either pond or aquarium fish. We may want to take a water sample during the visit.

12. What about Emergencies?
